Integration with IGP
IG OnDemand has been enhanced to integrate with Intelligent Guest Profile (IGP), a product that allows properties to seamlessly manage guest profiles across multiple Agilysys applications available in a property. Once a guest profile is created in any application where the IGP feature is supported, the profile is automatically shared with all the other Agilysys applications integrated at the customer-level, eliminating the need for the guest to provide the same data for other bookings at the property.
This integration supports the following functionality:
-
Post dining revenue to IGP
-
Post refunds to IGP
Contact Agilysys to support this integration at your property.
Prerequisites
The following values must be obtained from Agilysys Platform:
-
Tenant ID
-
Context ID
-
Subscription Key
-
Client ID
-
API Username
-
Nonce
Important Points
-
The profile merging functionality is not supported.
-
The language must be configured for the enterprise from the Language drop-down list (Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Administration ➜ Enterprise ➜ Language) and the time zone for the store from the Time Zone drop-down list (Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Administration ➜ Store ➜ Basic Details).
-
The currency configured in InfoGenesis must match the currency in Agilysys Platform.
-
If a new site is created in IGCM after configuring IGP at the enterprise level, Agilysys Platform configurations in the site level (Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Administration ➜ Site ➜ Site Platform) gets autofilled from the configuration available at the enterprise level. For existing sites, the values do not get autofilled.
-
Existing customers using site-level Platform configurations with the Default context can also use enterprise-level Platform configurations with the Default context. To use a custom context at the enterprise-level, properties must contact Agilysys.
-
If Platform configurations are available at both site and enterprise level, the enterprise level configurations take precedence.
Changes Made in IGCM
To support this, the following changes have been made:
-
A new checkbox, Enable Guest Profiling, has been added to the Settings submenu in the Enterprise menu.
-
When enabled, guest profiles can be created and maintained within InfoGenesis. Also, the IGP Platform Configuration submenu in the Enterprise menu is enabled.
-
When disabled, guest profiles cannot be created within InfoGenesis. Also, the IGP Platform Configuration submenu in the Enterprise menu is displayed as a read-only submenu.
-
-
A new submenu, IGP Platform Configuration has been added to the Enterprise menu.
-
The name of the terminal option 1489 has been modified, Terminal Option 1489 (Enable IGP Integration).
Supported Functionality
Post Dining Revenue to IGP
When an order is closed successfully using the PMS payment method in IG OnDemand, the dining revenue is posted to the appropriate guest profile in IGP. The profile is updated with the dining revenue and aggregated revenue details. IG OnDemand identifies the guest profile in IGP using the profile details received from PMS
If no guest profile is found or if multiple guest profiles are found, IG OnDemand does not post the revenue to IGP. Users can view the posted revenue under the Itinerary section in the guest profile in 12UX terminal only. Earlier, revenue posting to IGP was supported only for credit card payment methods.
This functionality is supported only for the following PMS integrations that integrate with IG OnDemand through IAS (Global IAS only):
-
Agilysys Versa
If an order is closed with multiple payments, the revenue is posted to the guest profile associated with the payment method used last to complete the order.
Post Refunds to IGP
Posting refunds to IGP is supported and refunds can be processed through 12UX terminal only.
When an order is refunded, the dining revenue previously posted to the guest profile in IGP is adjusted. This ensures that guest’s spending history and aggregated revenue totals remain accurate and up to date. Refunds, item returns, and other revenue adjustments are linked to the same guest profile associated with the parent check.
The refund or return can be processed using the following functions:
-
Refund Check (#48)
-
Refund Cls Check (#441)
-
Item Return (#239)
-
Reopen Check (#160)
