Hide Choice Group with Preselected Modifiers

IG Kiosk has been enhanced to hide specific choice groups during item selection while still allowing guests to edit them from the Cart screen.

Previously, all choice groups were displayed to guests during item configuration, even when the choice group contained optional preselected modifiers.

With this enhancement, when configured, the selected choice groups will be hidden during item customization. Guests can review and modify these hidden choice groups later from the Cart screen.

This enhancement is supported in both linear and standard flow.

Changes Made in IGCM

To support this, a new checkbox, Hide Choice Group, has been added for each choice group in the Preselected Modifiers submenu of the Item menu (Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Items ➜ Item).

• When enabled, the selected choice group is hidden from guests during the item customization flow. Guests can modify the hidden choice group only from the Cart screen.

This option is available only when the minimum limit for the choice group is set to 0.

If Hide Preselected Modifiers in Add is disabled and Hide Choice Group is enabled, the selected choice group is still hidden.

• When disabled, the selected choice group is displayed during the item customization flow and can be configured directly by guests, which is the existing behavior. By default, this option is disabled.

Configurations in IGCM

Navigate to Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Items ➜ Item.

Choose the appropriate item and select Edit.

Navigate to the Preselected Modifiers submenu.

Enable the Hide Choice Group checkbox for the preferred choice groups.

Select Save.
