Bump Bar Support

A bump bar is a hardware peripheral used in IG KDS Prep Expo and Kitchen Master Expo operations without a touch screen. The bump bar is a 20-key bar with a USB connector. The bump bar can be used in vertical or horizontal orientation. The keys on the bump bar include the following:

  • Tab Left

  • Tab Right

  • Search

  • Reset

  • Left

  • Right

  • First

  • Last

  • Up

  • Down

  • 1 or Expand

  • 2

  • 3

  • 4

  • 5

  • 6 or Cook

  • 7 or Bump

  • 8 or Recall

  • 9 or Priority

  • 0 or Print

Pressing the Search key activates a search window where the user can enter the number keys 1-0 in the enabled Edit box. The alternate functions of these numbers—Expand, Cook, Bump, Recall, Priority, Print are stopped, and the appropriate number digits are populated instead, when the focus is on the Edit Box.
