Highlight Order Changes on Expo chit
IG KDS has been enhanced to highlight order changes on expo chits in real-time. A bell icon will be displayed on the chit header and next to the specific item or course The bell icon is displayed until the update is acknowledged by tapping the chit header.
Important Points

This feature is applicable to open orders only.

It is supported for fixed chits, variable chits, and fixed chits in expanded view. The Highlight icon color cannot be configured.

Bump Bar is not supported.

Terminal Option 156 (Use real-time kitchen video interface) is not supported.

It is supported for both prep and enhanced master expo station types.

To support this feature, the chit must be in Cooking status.

Changes Made in IGCM
To support this, a new checkbox, Highlight chit changes, has been added in the Orders submenu in the Display System menu (POS Configuration ➜ Kitchen ➜ Display System).

When enabled, the changes in the chit are highlighted with a bell icon until acknowledged by tapping the chit header.

When disabled, the changes are not highlighted in the expo chit. This checkbox is disabled by default.
To display this checkbox the Use Modern Layout checkbox in the Orders submenu must be enabled (POS Configuration ➜ Kitchen ➜ Display System).
Configurations in IGCM
Navigate to POS Configuration ➜ Kitchen ➜ Display System.
Select the appropriate record from the screen and select Edit to modify it.
Navigate to the Orders submenu.
Enable the Use Modern Layout checkbox.
Enable the Highlight chit changes checkbox.
Select Save.
