Display Check Modifications on Expo

IG KDS has been enhanced to display following check modifications made to a check in POS Terminal:

• Seat

• Course

• Check Label

• Check Type

• Add delivery details - Address, mobile number, email, delivery type

• Table number

• Server name

• Profit center ID and name

• Room number

• Cover count

However, for Kiosk and OnDemand orders, check modifications are displayed on the expo only if Pay at Cashier is selected as the payment method.

Previously, modifications done will reflect only when a new item is added to the recalled check. With this enhancement, modifications will reflect even if a new item is not added.

Only the options that are selected in the Display Preferences submenu (POS Configuration ➜ Kitchen ➜ Kitchen Operation) will be displayed on the expo when modified.

Terminal Option 156 (Use real-time kitchen video interface) must be enabled to receive orders in real-time.

Important Points

• Split check must be performed only if all items in a chit have been fired. Otherwise, duplicate orders will be sent to expo and kitchen printer.

• No modifications such as adding or voiding items must be made to parent or child chit after a split check is performed.

• Split Items (#3) function is not supported.
