Create Floor Plan

Navigate to POS Configuration Business Floor Plan.

Select Add to add a new record or select the Edit icon to modify an existing record.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields as necessary:

Basic Details submenu

ID

Enter a unique ID for the floor plan.

Floor Plan Name

Enter a unique name for the floor plan.

Button Text 1

Enter the text for button 1. This field is auto-filled as per the floor plan name.

Button Text 2

Enter the text for button 2.

Layout Options submenu

Allow button overlap

  • When enabled, the table buttons in the floor plan will overlap with each other. Enabling this option does not change the current layout,

  • When disabled, it will not affect the arrangement of the buttons. Any overlapping buttons will need to be manually adjusted.

Snap to grid

  • When enabled, buttons placed or resized on the Layout pane are repositioned to line up with the nearest grid line or intersection.

  • When disabled, buttons placed or resized on the Layout pane are not repositioned to line up with the nearest grid line or intersection.

Button padding

This is a spin control with default set to 0, range 0 to 9. This option sets the horizontal and vertical minimum distance between buttons.

The greater the number, the greater the distance and vice versa. If Allow button overlap is enabled, Button padding is disabled.

Grid size

This is a spin control, with a default of 1 and range 0 to 9. This option sets the granularity of the grid. By increasing the option’s number, the distance between grid lines increases and vice versa. Buttons sizes do not change unless Snap to grid is enabled.

Theme

This function is not applicable to Fly.

Reset to Defaults

Selecting this option will reset the configurations.

Layout

The Layout button will be enabled only after creating a floor plan.

Translation submenu

The Translation submenu is used to support multiple languages based on the enterprise's primary language.

Select Save.
