Support Quebec Fiscal Transactions for Mobility Platforms

InfoGenesis POS has been enhanced to process Quebec Fiscal transactions through the Fiscal Printer Module. Previously, Quebec Fiscal transactions were processed through IAS to communicate with Revenu Quebec. With this enhancement, the Quebec Fiscal integration has been migrated to the Fiscal Printer Module, aligning it with the standard fiscal architecture and enabling support for mobility solutions. When a sale is completed, the Fiscal Printer Module communicates with Revenu Quebec to validate the transaction, receives the fiscal response, and generates the fiscal receipt. Existing IAS-based implementations remain supported, while future deployments can use the certified solution on supported platforms, including Windows POS and iPad POS.

This enhancement is subject to Revenu Québec certification and will be available for customers only after certification is obtained.

Changes Made in IGCM

To support this, a new option, QuebecWebSRM, has been added to the Fiscal Group drop-down list under the Fiscal Group section in the FiscalConfig.ini file (POS Configuration ➜ Profiler ➜ POS Terminal ➜ Files).

Configurations in IGCM

Navigate to POS Configuration ➜ Profiler ➜ POS Terminal.

Select the preferred record from the screen and select Edit to modify it.

Navigate to Files ➜ FiscalConfig.ini ➜ FiscalInterface.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Fiscal Group
Fiscal Group	Select QuebecWebSRM from the drop-down list. The QuebecWebSRM section is displayed.

Enter the required parameters in fields under the QuebecWebSRM section.

Select Save.
