Discount Detail Report
The Discount Detail Report provides a detailed source of information about the types of discounts being used. The report is designed as an additional research tool after a problem is identified in the Cashier Performance Report. This report is designed for those interested in discount detail at the employee and profit center level. Other users include higher-level operational users interested in the discount performance of all profit centers in a store.
This report contains both check and item-level discounts. When item prices are tax-included, the total discount amount is calculated based on the full item price for both regular and tax-included items. This report balances to the Discount Summary Report, the Sales Summary Report (discount line) and Sales Summary with Revenue Detail Report (discount line).
