Tip Configuration
Navigate to Tip Configuration.
Refer to the following table and fill in the fields as necessary:

No limit |
Select this option if no tip limits are configured for the profit center. Any tip amount can be entered without limitations. |

Warn when exceeded |
Select this option to have a warning appear on the POS Terminal when a tip amount is too large. A Max Percent value is required when selecting this option. |

Manager override when exceeded |
Select this option to have POS Terminal require a manager override when the tip exceeds the maximum percent value. The manager has to have a security level of 5 or higher to accept the exceeded tip limit. A Max Percent value is required when selecting this option. |

Do not allow when exceeded |
This option restricts the user from adding tip amount to the check with a warning message when the tip amount exceeds the limit percentage configured. |

Max. Percent |
The Max Percent field allows the user to configure the percentage of tip allowed for a transaction. This field is activated only when the Warn When Exceeded, Manager Override when exceeded, or Do not allow when exceeded options are selected. A warning message is displayed based on the option selected if the tip amount exceeds the configured limit percent. |
