Terminals

For enterprises that use more than one language, the terminal can be set up to display up to two different languages. The language translates depending on POS Terminal Language of the employee who signs on to the terminal. This translation feature functions when all translation fields in the IGCM have been configured accordingly.

Once set up, InfoGenesis POS terminals retain not only the price of products, but also which modifiers go with certain items, and the rules for coupons and discounts, and so on. POS terminals provide complete data security. Screen and price information is stored in terminal memory. If for any reason a terminal is disconnected from the system, Employees can continue to ring sales with no system downtime. All data is captured offline at the POS terminal and automatically uploaded to the server upon reconnection.
