SMS Configuration
Navigate to SMS Configuration.
Refer to the following table and fill in the fields as necessary:

Country Code |
Select a Country Code from the Drop-down field that lists country and phone number codes. |

SMS Body |
Enter the actual SMS message. It is a mandatory field. Maximum 918 alphanumeric characters. |

Static field that displays valid tokens. On entering these tokens in the email/SMS message, the respective values are displayed in the terminal output.

Setting up SMS Communication
SMS communication can be set up in the following two ways, depending on the customer’s preference:

Twilio - Allows integrating the customer’s existing Twilio account directly within InfoGenesis for SMS communication.

Agilysys - Supports SMS communication through one of the following methods, which requires customers to contact Agilysys for setup:

Create a Twilio sub account for a customer - Customers who do not have a subscription with any SMS provider can use this option.

Open Market - Customers that have an account with Open Market must share the following credentials with Agilysys:

Username

Password

Mobile number from which SMS must be sent

Vonage - Customers that have an account with Vonage (formerly Nexmo) must share the following credentials with Agilysys:

API Key

API Secret

Mobile Number from which SMS must be sent

Integrate Customer’s Twilio Account
Performing the steps in this section enables SMS communication at the store level only. These steps must be completed individually for each store where billing should reflect the SMS credentials provided.
For customers who prefer to configure SMS credentials at the enterprise level (using the same credentials across all stores), contact Agilysys and provide the following information:

Auth Token

Mobile Number from which SMS must be sent
Perform the following steps to configure SMS communication at the store level:
Launch IGCM.
Navigate to POS Configuration ➜ Store ➜SMS Configuration.
Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Enter {"AccountId":"abc","AuthToken":"xyz","PhoneNumber":"+123"} Replace abc with the account SID that can be found in the Twilio console. Replace xyz with the auth token that can be found in the Twilio console. Replace +123 with the phone number from which SMS must be sent. Ensure to enter the number along with the country code. |
