Menus

Users can create global menus, that is, menu screens supported across 12UX, IG Kiosk, IG OnDemand and IG Fly. The main purpose of the global menu is to provide a user-friendly experience in configuring menus, which requires only minimum steps.

The global menus can be configured in the Menus menu and can be mapped to the appropriate daypart schedule or menu schedule, just like any other screens.

Navigate to Kiosk/OnDemand Configuration ➜ Items ➜ Menus.

Select Add.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Menu Name	Enter a preferred name for the menu.
Employee Facing	Enable this checkbox.
Guest Facing	Not applicable to 12UX Terminal and IG Fly.
Header Text	Not applicable to IG OnDemand.

Select Add Item. The menu gets created. Items can directly be added to this menu, or categories/subcategories can be created and items can be added within them.

Add Items to Menu

Items can be added to the menu directly.

Select Add Items. The Add Items prompt is displayed.

Choose the Items or Packages flag and select appropriate items or packages.

Select Include to add them to the menu.

Select Done. The Kebab icon can be selected to edit, delete, and rearrange the added items.

Select Save.

Add Categories to Menu

A category can be added to the menu and items can be added within the category.

Select Add Category. The Add Category prompt is displayed.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Category Name	Enter a preferred name for the category.
Description	Enter a description for the category, if preferred.
Display Type	Select one of the following options: Image and Text Only Image Only Text
Overlay Color	Select the appropriate overlay color from the color picker.
Text Color	Select the appropriate text color from the color picker.
Image Picker	Select Add Image to upload an image to the category. Note - This field is displayed only when Image and Text or Only Image is selected.

Select Save. The category gets created.

Select Add Items. The Add Items prompt is displayed.

Choose the Items or Packages flag and select appropriate items or packages.

Select Include to add them to the category.

Select Done. The Kebab icon can be selected to edit, delete, and rearrange the added items. Multiple categories can be created within the menu by selecting Add Category.

Select Save.

Add Subcategory within a Category

A subcategory can be added within a category, and items can be added to the subcategory.

Select Add Category. The Add Category prompt is displayed.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Category Name	Enter a preferred name for the category.
Description	Enter a description for the category, if preferred.
Display Type	Select one of the following options: Image and Text Only Image Only Text
Overlay Color	Select the appropriate overlay color from the color picker.
Text Color	Select the appropriate text color from the color picker.
Image Picker	Select Add Image to upload an image to the category. Note - This field is displayed only when Image and Text or Only Image is selected.

Select Save. The category gets created.

Select Add Subcategory. The Add Subcategory prompt is displayed.

Description	Enter a description for the subcategory, if preferred.
Display Type	Select one of the following options: Image and Text Only Image Only Text
Overlay Color	Select the appropriate overlay color from the color picker.
Text Color	Select the appropriate text color from the color picker.
Image Picker	Select Add Image to upload an image to the subcategory. Note - Note - This field is displayed only when Image and Text or Only Image is selected.

Select Save.

Select Add Items. The Add Items prompt is displayed.

Choose the Items or Packages flag and select appropriate items or packages.

Select Include to add them to the subcategory.

Select Done. The Kebab icon can be selected to edit, delete, and rearrange the added items. Multiple subcategories can be created within the menu by selecting Add Subcategory.

Select Save.

Exclude Items and Packages

This section allows users to exclude specific items or packages from the whole menu. For example, if Burger is selected here, it will be removed from the menu. Also, when adding items to the menu, category, or subcategory, burger will not be displayed.

Select Items/Packages in Excluded List. The Exclude Items/Packages prompt is displayed.

Choose the Items or Packages flag and select appropriate items or packages to be excluded.

Select Exclude.

Select Done. The selected items or packages will be excluded from the menu.

Select Save.

The following is a sample menu with categories, subcategories, and items configured.

• Categories - Food Menu, Combos, South Indian menus, Grill & Steamed, Korean Special, All-Day Breakfast

• Subcategories - Appetizer & Soup, Pasta & Pizza, Sandwiches & Burgers

• Items - Freshly Baked Pastries, Tower Sandwich, Vegan Burger
