Customer PII Data Deletion for Privacy Compliance

InfoGenesis POS supports automatic deletion of customer personally identifiable information (PII) to comply with privacy compliance regulations.

Customer PII data is captured during order creation through sources such as loyalty programs, memberships, credit card processing, and delivery inputs.

Properties can enable privacy compliance laws at the enterprise level and select the applicable regulation CCPA or GDPR. Only one regulation can be selected at a time, ensuring the data handling behavior aligns with regional compliance requirements.

Once enabled, customer PII data is retained in the check JSON file only for the configured retention period after the check reaches Completed status. After the retention period expires, the PII data is automatically deleted from the check JSON file. This enhancement applies only to checks that are completed after it is enabled.
