Display Bucket Balance for Meal Swipe Entitlement - Agilysys Loyalty & Promotions

InfoGenesis POS integration with Loyalty & Promotions has been enhanced to perform a balance inquiry for the guest’s badge ID and display the bucket balance available for immediate redemption.

Bucket balance is the leftover meal swipe entitlement amount available after partially redeeming a meal.

For example, if a guest’s breakfast entitlement is $40 and their breakfast check comes to $30, the remaining $10 will be displayed in the entitlement bucket for later use.

Users can view the bucket balance by performing the Loyalty Inquiry (#456) function at the POS terminal and providing guest’s Badge ID as the inquiry input.

The following guest information is displayed on this screen:

• Masked first and last name of the guest

• Masked card number

• Account ID

• Status of the guest account

Important Points

• The entitlement amount from future meal periods is not displayed in the balance inquiry screen.

• Terminal Option 474 (Prompt for PIN for Loyalty System) must be disabled to support this feature.
