Global User

IGCM has been enhanced to support global user permissions for the Agilysys SaaS Superadmin user. A global user can access all existing and new tenants, enabling consistent user creation and management across tenants.

With this enhancement, Agilysys SaaS superadmin user will have access to all tenants and can create the following types of users:

  • Support/SaaS Admin users - Full access to all tenants.

  • Field Service - Access to specific tenants approved by the superadmin.

A global user can log into IGCM through Agilysys SSO by entering the Organization as Super admin and enabling the Agilysys support check box. Only users who have access to the Global User menus will be allowed to login using this method.

Changes Made in IGCM

The following menus have been introduced under User Management main menu and are supported for superadmin users only:

  • Global User

  • Global User Role

  • Global Role

  • Global Permission Group

Configurations in IGCM

Log on to IGCM

Enter the organization name as superadmin.

Enable the Agilysys support checkbox.

Select Proceed.

Authenticate through SSO login. The Context Selection screen is displayed.

Select the superadmin (0) user.

Navigate to User Management Administration.

Select the Global User menu.

Select Add.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Enter the email address of the user.

Enter the preferred username.

Select the appropriate option

  • Support/Saas Admin (access to all tenants)

  • Field Service (access to selected tenants assigned by the superadmin in the Tenants submenu).

Default User Role

Select the default user role.

Tenants - This submenu will be enabled only when Field Service option is selected.

Available Tenants

Displays all available tenants. Select the appropriate tenants to be assigned to the user and select the Include Tenant option.

Assigned Tenants

Displays the tenants assigned to the user. To unassign a tenant, select it and select the Exclude Tenant option.

Select Save.

Create appropriate permission group, role, and user role in the corresponding menus for the global user.
