Static and Dynamic Query Results for Queryable Containers

IGCM has been enhanced to support static and dynamic query options for queryable containers. This enhancement enables properties to control whether query results are manually refreshed or automatically updated when newly added items satisfy configured query criteria. Existing queryable containers are migrated to the new queryable container structure with static option selected by default to retain the existing query refresh process. If a mapped Queryable Container contains no items that satisfy the configured query criteria, the Queryable Container is not displayed on the Kiosk or OnDemand.

Changes Made in IGCM

A new field Container Type with two new radio buttons, Static and Dynamic, has been added to the Basic Details submenu of the Queryable Container menu.

• Static - When selected, newly added items that satisfy the configured query criteria are added to the query results only after a manual refresh. After refreshing the query results, users must perform Cook and Reload to display the items on the Kiosk or OnDemand. This option is selected by default.

• Dynamic - When selected, newly added items that satisfy the configured query criteria are automatically reflected in the query results without requiring a manual refresh. Users must perform Cook and Reload to display the items on the Kiosk or OnDemand.
