Global Assign Utility
InfoGenesis POS has been enhanced to allow users to perform bulk assignments across multiple menus from a centralized location. This eliminates the need to update records individually and improves operational efficiency.
For example, if a choice group is assigned to one item, the same assignment can be applied to multiple items in a single action.
Changes Made in IGCM
To support this, a new utility, Global Assign, has been added (Utilities ➜ Utilities).
Configurations in IGCM

Copy Action for Price Level Assignment
The price level assignment in the Item menu supports the Copy action. This allows users to create a new price level and automatically assign it to all items that are currently using the selected price level, while copying their existing pricing values.
Select the source record from which the assignment must be applied.
Select Copy. On selecting, the Copy Price Level prompt is displayed with the following message: This will create a new price level and assign it to all items to which the existing price level is assigned. Each item's current price and previous price for the existing price level will be copied to the new price level.
Enter the name of the new price level in the Create New Price Level field.
Select OK. The following message is displayed: Are you sure you want to continue? The new price level: (New Price Level Name) will be assigned to all Items that are currently assigned the price level: (Existing Price Level Name). This will update (Number) items.
Select OK.
